Harvard Business School　2023–2024 Admission deadlines/Essay question/GMAT Test Policy発表

Harvard Business School 2023–2024の出願締切日、出願書類の中のエッセイ課題、GMAT Test Policyが発表されました。アプリケーションは夏に公開予定です。

The application dates for the MBA Class of 2026 (matriculating fall 2024) are:

2023-2024の出願者にむけては現行GMATのみの受付となることが発表されました。（2+2programについてのみ認める予定であることが発表されています）

• To minimize confusion across Round 1 and Round 2 in this year’s MBA application, we will only accept the traditional GMAT exam or the GRE. We will not accept the new GMAT Focus exam as it will not be available until after this year’s Round 1 deadline. As a reminder, test scores are valid for five years from the test date, so rest assured that your scores from the traditional GMAT exam will continue to be accepted into the future.
• For those applying to 2+2 in 2024, we plan to accept the GMAT Focus and will provide further updates when available. The 2+2 application deadline is Thursday, April 25, 2024.

• The essay prompt will remain the same as last year with a 900-word limit: “As we review your application, what more would you like us to know as we consider your candidacy for the Harvard Business School MBA program?”

Harvard MBA Duolingo testの受け入れを開始

先日Harvard MBAの出願締め切りとエッセイ課題の発表をお伝えしましたが、英語テストの要件に変化がありました。Duolingo testの受け入れを開始します。

テストスコアメイキングについては、これまでのGMAT or GREどちらのテストが自分に最適であるか？という議論に加えて、英語のテストについても同様に自分の状況に合わせて適切なテストを選択することが重要です。自分の状況に合わせたテストスコアを選択することも重要な出願戦略です。

A TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson Test of English (PTE), or Duolingo English Test is required if you did not attend an undergraduate institution where the sole language of instruction is English.
If you completed a graduate degree which was taught in English, it is recommended you submit one of these tests, but it is not required.
Scores from ALL of these tests are valid for two years. These tests must be dated January 1, 2021 or more recently to be valid.
HBS only accepts the Internet-based (IBT) version of the TOEFL.
HBS does not have a minimum test score to apply, however, the MBA Admissions Board discourages any candidate with a TOEFL score lower than 109 on the IBT, an IELTS score lower than 7.5, or a PTE score lower than 75, or a Duolingo score lower than 130 from applying.

いよいよ2023年入学者向けのアプリケーションのシーズンが始まりました！
その最初として、Harvard MBA　2023年入学者向けの応募締切とエッセイ課題が発表されました（2025年卒業予定者むけ）
エッセイ課題は昨年と変更はありませんでした。

2023年MBA入学を目指す方、特に９月の1stラウンドでの出願を目指す方は本格出願書類作成の準備開始です。志望理由の整理、自身のこれまでのキャリアの整理を開始しましょう。

Please note that each “round” represents a distinct period in which you may apply, not a succession of steps for your application. You may apply in one round only, one time in an application year.

The Class of 2025 application will open in June 2022. Applications received after September 7, 2022 will be considered in Round 2. Applications received after January 4, 2023 will not be considered.
