Columbia LLM 12/21

====================
Dear Eiki,

You asked, we listened! Given the volume of requests we received to submit a late application and our change to an earlier deadline this year, we will be reopening our applications to the Executive LL.M. and LL.M. programs. The application will open at 12:00am (NY time) on December 14 and close at 11:59pm (NY time) December 21.

Please continue to work with LSAC and your recommenders to submit your transcripts or letters of recommendation. Do not worry if there are slight delays with LSAC. We understand it takes time on their end to process as well, so as long as you submit the Columbia application by December 21, you have met the requirement. We cannot, however, review your application until we have all documents from LSAC.

Decisions for our Executive LL.M. program will be sent on a rolling basis through January. Decisions for our LL.M. program will be sent simultaneously the first week of March.

If you are having a technical issue with submitting your application, please contact LSAC at LLMinfo@LSAC.org.

As always, we are here to help if you have questions! You can reply directly to this email or contact us at gradprograms@law.columbia.edu.

Sincerely,
Office of Graduate Degree Programs

https://www.law.virginia.edu/graduatestudies/llm-application-instructions

Although completed LL.M. applications are not due until Feb. 1, the Graduate Committee follows a “rolling admissions” policy and offers of admission may be made before the Feb. 1 deadline. Therefore, it is advantageous to apply early.

Harvard: a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based test (with a minimum score of 25 on each subsection
University of Pennsylvania: a TOEFL score of at least 100 (with at least 23 in each section) or IELTS score of 7 (with at least 7 in each section).

Columbia MBA 2023-2024 Aug Admission

Columbia MBA 2023-2024 Aug admission deadline

August 2024 Entry Application Deadlines
The August 2024 application will be available in mid-July.

Round Application Deadline Interview Decisions Released Final Decisions Released
Round 1 September 13, 2023 Mid-October Mid-December
Round 2 January 5, 2024 Early-to-mid February Late March
Round 3 April 3, 2024 Mid-to-late April Early May

To be considered for a particular August round, your application must be completed by 11:59pm Eastern Time on the deadline date for the round in which you apply. Your letter of recommendation and application fee must be submitted by the deadline for your application to be considered complete.
If your application is not completed by the deadline for the current round, it will be rolled into the next available application round in the current cycle for consideration.

The August-entry applications are reviewed in three rounds. While applications will not be reviewed until after each deadline, it is always helpful to apply well before the deadline to ensure all components are received on time. Deposit amounts vary by round. Please review the Deposits page for more information.

If you and your partner are both applying in the same year, we strongly encourage you to apply in the same round so that you will know if your partner has been admitted by the time you have to accept or decline your offer of admission.

Optional Short Answer Question
In this section, we provide an optional opportunity for you to discuss some of your contributions more fully.

What do we mean by “optional”? We truly mean you have the opportunity to choose. If you feel that you’ve already described your contributions well in other areas of the application, congratulations, you’re done! If not, feel free to use this opportunity to tell us more.

In the Essays section of the application, we ask you to tell us about who you are and how you think Stanford will help you achieve your aspirations. We are also interested in learning about the things you have done that are most meaningful to you. If you would like to go beyond your resume to discuss some of your contributions more fully, you are welcome to share up to three examples (up to 1,200 characters, or approximately 200 words, for each example).

Question: Think about times you’ve created a positive impact, whether in professional, extracurricular, academic, or other settings. What was your impact? What made it significant to you or to others?
